Ethos Clinic may provide telehealth services through Doximity or Direct Health, previously Medici. Telehealth visits are intended to support clinical care when appropriate and when permitted by applicable law, payer rules, and clinician judgment.

Privacy and Security

• Ethos uses telehealth tools intended for healthcare communication.
• Patients should join telehealth visits from a private location whenever possible.
• Patients should avoid recording visits unless explicitly authorized by the clinician and permitted by law.
• Patients should use a secure internet connection and avoid public Wi-Fi when possible.
• Telehealth is not appropriate for every medical or psychiatric situation.

Emergencies and Location

Telehealth is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency department. During telehealth visits, Ethos may ask for your physical location and emergency contact information so appropriate help can be contacted if needed.

Limitations

Telehealth may involve technical interruptions, connectivity issues, or privacy risks outside the control of Ethos Clinic. Patients should notify the clinician immediately if privacy is compromised or the connection is interrupted.
