Our Ethos
A holistic approach
to emotional, physical
& spiritual health
Dr. Abbas
Founder · A Unique Approach
“Your emotional, physical and spiritual health work together to create overall balance in your life.”
A central focus of Ethos is the encouragement of mindfulness, meditation, spirituality, and healthy living for every patient. Medications, therapy, and advanced modalities are used as appropriate parts of your plan, but the goal is always the same: healing through a whole-person approach.

Five foundations of care
Every plan at Ethos is built on five foundations. They are the threads that, woven together, move a person from suffering toward wholeness. No two plans weave them the same way. Yours will be shaped around your life.
Connection
Restoring our ties to self, to others, and to community.
Suffering isolates. It thins the ties between you and the people who love you, and between you and yourself. Care here begins by mending those ties. A clinician who knows your name and your story. Family brought in when it helps. No one heals alone.
Meaning
Reconnecting with purpose and what matters most.
Pain narrows a life until getting through the day is the whole of it. Treatment should widen the frame again. Together we look at what you love, what you have lost, and what you still want to build. Purpose is not a reward that comes after recovery. It is part of the medicine.
Presence
Learning to arrive in the present, calm, aware, here.
Much of suffering lives in the past or the future. Regret pulls one way, worry the other. Presence is the practiced skill of arriving where you are. Breath, attention, stillness. In session we go slowly enough that you can actually land.
Stewardship
Caring for the body that carries us: sleep, movement, nourishment.
The mind does not live apart from the body. Sleep, food, movement, and light shape mood as surely as any prescription. Your plan attends to all of them, in small workable steps, not an overhaul no one could keep.
Growth
Moving, steadily and with support, toward who you are becoming.
Healing is not a return to who you were before. It is movement toward who you are becoming. Growth here is steady and supported, measured in real things. A morning you looked forward to. A conversation you did not avoid. A plan you kept.
Healing is more than symptom reduction.
It is a return to connection, meaning, and hope.
